Welcome to our sensory support quizzes

Two quizzes to help parents understand what’s overwhelming your child and what actually helps

To help you notice patterns that shape both you and your child with more clarity so you can:

  • identify sensory patterns — what triggers, comforts, and supports your child's nervous system

  • start responding instead of reacting to challenging behaviors

Start here: What's Causing the Overwhelm?

Frequent meltdowns, resistance, avoidance or fighting? This quiz helps you identify your child’s sensory triggers.

This is where most parents start when things feel hard.

These environmental cues that may push their nervous system past it's limit but they may not know how to describe it.

Or Explore What Helps Your Child Feel Regulated

This quiz helps you identify what sensory input comforts your child.

These experiences help them feel calm, grounded, or more comfortable.

This quiz is especially helpful if you’re thinking, “I know they’re struggling… but I’m not sure what actually helps.”

What the Sensory Quizzes Help You Understand

Both quizzes are designed to give you a clearer picture of your child’s sensory profile without overwhelm, shame, or guesswork.

You’ll walk away with insight on:

  • how your child experiences everyday sensory input
  • what may be contributing to stress, avoidance, or big reactions
  • what supports regulation, connection, and capacity

Who these quizzes are for

These sensory quizzes are especially helpful for parents of kids who:

  • are highly sensitive or easily overwhelmed
  • have ADHD or are Autistic (or you’re wondering if they might be)
  • strongly seek or avoid movement or stimulation
  • struggle with daily transitions, routines, or social emotional skills
  • have big emotional reactions that feel hard to predict

WELCOME TO THE SPACE THAT FINALLY GETS YOU

We’re Tina & Vanessa— Parent Coaches Walking This Path With You.

Supporting families of Autistic and ADHD kids with connection, curiosity, and compassion.

We help the entire family find practical nervous system regulation tools.

Our approach comes from our Pediatric Occupational Therapy background, lived experience, and from our work with thousands of families.

Vanessa is the problem-solver who's happiest when she's thinking outside the box, whether it's creating hands-on activities for emotional and sensory regulation or hosting community events for neurodivergent tweens and teens.

And Tina? She's the sports enthusiast and lifelong gymnast who blended her love of sports into the community program called Buddyball, which brings together families of kids with unique abilities to enjoy sports with peers.

Fun facts about us :)

When we’re not busy creating resources for DEN, Vanessa can be found in the gym, traveling, or taking a walk with her husky, while Tina might be taking a break from her 6 kids and chilling out on her boat. And if you catch us on a Friday, we’ll be laughing about our early OT days sitting in the Florida sunshine and plotting our next big adventure in supporting families!
